A press release seems too formal for a class that doesn't even exist or have official rules yet, but we have commenced the construction of our F1K-07 car. Some items are complete....and some are still in the computer....but we're moving forward. Myself, and engineer Dustin Wright, are very excited about this project and look forward to providing more details in the future.

Even though we're pretty early on in the process, I can divulge a few details of the current plans for the car....

1. 4130 TIG-welded Space-Frame Chassis (completely new design...GCR compliant).
2. George Dean-prepared GSX-R1000 Engine.
3. Penske Double-Adjustable Shocks. (Yes, we're now a Penske Dealer)
4. Jongbloed Racing Wheels (Another Change)
5. Dual Element Fiberglass Front Wings
6. Fiberglass Single Element Rear Wing
7. Hoosier R35 Racing Tires
8. AIM Mychron 3 Dash

One of the more exciting plans is to offer the car in three "Stages" of construction based on the customer's interest in the assembly of their own car. The details of this unique offering will be forthcoming, but the basic idea is that a customer can order a "base" kit with all the parts needed to build the car him (or her) self....all the way up to a complete turn-key racer. Pricing for the car is targeted from the $20K - 35K range based upon the "stage" chosen by the customer.

Production slots are now being reserved for Spring '07 delivery (no cost). Call us and we'll put you on the "call list" and when the rules are finalized, we'll call you (in order) to finalize your order and secure the deposit.
