Default History of Swift DB4 Cam Cover

Does anyone know the history of the old Swift DB4 Cam Covers. Out of the four that I have, two look like they were sand-casted (rough) and the other two are smooth without the pits. When I tried selling them awhile back a couple people asked if they were magnesium or aluminum. I of course laughed and replied aluminum. The covers are all original and have not been blasted or tampered with. Anyone have any clues???? Paddy?

Charles thanks for the heads up! Do you know who made the sump pans? DB4 vs. Reynard 89-90

I'm not sure who made the pans. The difference is the threads and locations for the rear bosses. I believe the Swift were standard and the Reynard were metric. It changed due to the different gearbox designs. I may have a Reynard pan somewhere if you need one.

    Default Reynard Pan

Never know when you might need another oil pan. Please look and let me know. Does it have the windage tray?

    Jonathan,

Sorry, it appears it has disappeared. I do have a complete mag 89h gearbox with bearing carrier and two rear covers with wing mounts if you are interested.
