    Default '06 pfm - sold

    2006 MAZDA SERIES RACE CAR
The car ran in the 2006 in the STAR MAZDA CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES and ran for a full season.
It was then used in 2007 and 2008 and ran for a few test days only.
The car was then updated in 2009 to the Star Mazda Series for Peter Dempsey who ran it for only 4 races.
Then again in 2009 to 2011 the car was run for a few test days only.
The engine is the 6 injector motor.
The tub is in excellent shape as it was totally replaced at the Montreal support race in 2006 as it was involved in the famous 17 car pile up.
It has very few miles on it (approximately 10 weekends) with no damage. It is an Elan Square bottom tub.
In its day, the car was serviced and supported at the track by Aim Motorsports of Toronto.
It comes complete with engine and removable front wing.
From what we have been told, this car could easily still run in a Mazda series with the necessary updates or could run as a test car or even in another series altogether such as a SCCA event.
If you have any interest in learning more about this race car and wish to make an offer to purchase it please feel free to contact us at anytime as the car will be sold within the next 4 weeks.
The car is presently located at our facility in Toronto and can be viewed at anytime.
Thank you for any potential interest.

definitely interested to hear the outcome when it reaches new home. doesn't appear particularly clean and being sold by liquidators.. I'm sure worth the asking price, but may not be the screaming deal that it might seem at first glance. 2 hours is certainly some kind of record I'd say!

no surprise. it was being offered at about a 50% discount, assuming the car was in reasonable condition.

It should be getting picked up in the next week or so once I get all of the customs stuff sorted out.

I'm in the middle of doing a new livery for the car actually, although, a deal just came up on the plane I've been keeping my eye on so I'm torn as to whether or not I keep the car or get rid of it to purchase the plane.

what was the condition of the car? did it run? anything more than routine nut/bolt/inspections/maintenance needed to put it on track?

I still need to hook up the computer etc. I'd say it needs a basic winter refresh.
