First event of the year for the Reynard
The first STL event of the year was canceled because Family Arena scheduled a more profitable event. The second event was too cold for slicks. So, our first event was the CAM Challenge in the Race Tire Index class. John replaced the brake master cylinder and a kinked brake line during the off season. So, the during first session was John was adjusting the brake bias, but still got fast time over a very fast XA Eagle Talon. John went a bit slower for the second session, but was still the quickest. On Sunday, John was the only driver to beat the 40 second barrier. Actually, he had the only two runs under 41 seconds for the event.
We are disappointed that no other CMs will be at Spring Nats. We hope to see many of you at the Peru Nats.
