Radials in the Northeast
Hey folks,
This year we have gotten radials approved to run with NER SCCA. That means that if you have ever wanted to run Palmer, Lime Rock, Thompson, and/or New Hampshire you can now do so on radials!
Currently, we have 13 registered on radials and 13 on slicks for the season opener NEXT weekend at Palmer on May 11-12. There is a test day on Friday the 10th if you are unfamiliar with Palmer/Whiskey Hill. That's decent haul for a season opener.
Pretty much ALL the radials registered will be running the Yokohama A052 in 195/50R15, just like our brothers in Challenge Cup and Driverz Cup. A bunch of us bought wheels, mine are the 3-fifty-6 5.5" x 15, 4" backspace from cip1.com. They weigh 13 pounds each.
So, yeah, it's Mother's Day weekend, and short notice, but come on out and play! Plenty of guys live in easy reach of Palmer, especially in PA(hint-hint). You know who you are! If you sign up, sign up for FVR.
