    Default Header collector attachment

My supervee has a slip fit header collector. The collector aims back into the body and curves down and out the back of the tail. I've got it all mounted and supported. What is the best way to attach it to the header tubes so it still has some flexibility? I assume it will crack things if solid mounted. It's actually supported very well down stream. I almost wonder if I could just leave it slipped on as is. Or would I be better off with a T-clamp on a tube or two?

If it is well supported downstream, I would leave it if the header tubes are well supported by their fastening to the head. You might want to put some sort of spring on the collector to keep it from slipping off the tubes.

My FC has only 1 external support and that is about a foot behind where the collector slips on to the header tubes.

Of course3 the header tubes are bolted to the head.

Weld on some hooks to two of the tubes and a pair to the collector and put some stiff springs on, just like you would do with a KT-100 exhaust.
