    Default Bearing Removal

    Gents;

    Regarding the fore and aft suspension pushrod pivots for the midyear Van Diemen, I need to remove the bearings.

    Technique as not to harm the bearings, please.

    I think the first (pick a side) bearing comes out only by pushing on the ID spacer - yes, this places an undesirable force on the inner race however I don’t think there is another way, and it’s not that tight of a fit. Also, these bearings are extremely common and reasonable cost if you have any doubt. There is really is no maintenance needs until overhauling the bellcrank when you can just replace them.
