    Stop tempting me!

Good Luck with sale. I’d be all over it if not living in a van and having no space.
    (but at least it’s a VW) :-)

Oh, the inhumanity! But Lynx Bs are sweet. :-)

Yeah, we done lost the original 1.9L bus engine 41 days ago. Prior owners proved as rough on it as suspected, but we have another going in this week in Durango, CO, a 2.1 shipped in from Nantucket of all places.

Rough as it’s been, we didn’t fail to laugh at it seizing up two miles after passing through Purgatory — broken valve or cam likely culprits, didn’t spend a minute considering a rebuild with how it’s been losing oil, struggling with compression, and having about 170K on it. Choices were few, but we have old friends here and staying with them between 200 miles of backpacking done since Memorial Day. Somehow we feel lucky about it all...

Thanks! We should finally see our Lazer in about a month, hope to do some testing at Nelson, and maybe/hopefully the Mid-Ohio regional (if they’ll let us in). We’re also helping Barret to re-launch Lazer Cars, what a great kid he is — and we want him finally building cars after everything was stolen nearly a decade ago!

Definitely going to watch VIR Runoffs this fall, make many new friends (if they can stand me, Haha), then running as many races as possible next year including the June Sprints and the Runoffs. Is the Pitt race also a Major?

Thanks, please come see us when paths cross, “performance-burnt orange” ‘84 Westy with circus tent awnings and aimless old people wandering about wearing Packmule Racing attire. This will all be great.

    Thanks Bud.
