Default Difference between new and old style front wings.

I recently bought a PFM and have 2 wings. I believe one is a new style wing. The doc on StarRaceCars.com on the resources page explains the benefit of the new wing but doesn’t have any pictures, so I can’t tell which one of my wings is the new style. The only difference I can spot is that one wing has horizontal pieces coming off the end plates. Is that one the new wing?

Mine is a 2009 so it’s the latest. It doesn’t have that horizontal piece. I thought the only difference was aluminum vs carbon fiber construction. Maybe someone else will chime in that knows more.

The one in your picture is the original style wing. The newer style has a smaller flap and no foot on the end plate and is composite
