    Default Steering wheel choices?

I need a new steering wheel for my Beach Mk4b.
the current wheel is 13” and I’m looking for something just a bit smaller (12” or around 300mm).
as much as I like the modern wheels (OMP Trecento), I am soliciting opinions on suitable wheels
that look more vintage. Looking at period pictures of sports racers, 2 styles seem most prevelant:
lotus 23 style (3 plain metal spokes), and 3 spoke with spoke holes.

I found jacobengineering.co.uk. Their “intertribal” and LolaT60 wheels are nice but a bit pricy ($300).

Any other ideas & suggestions ?

Mountney and Mota-Lita have more traditional style steering wheels. Both companies have been around for many years, so their brands are also 'in period'!

I'd go with the lightest probably.

Another suggestion is to post a "Wanted Ad" with a picture of what you're looking for. Since the diameter range can get a fair bit smaller than 12", you might want to post a minimum size you want. I assume that's an HM car and has fairly small front tires so you might be ok with am even smaller wheel and the difference in steering effort.

MotoLita for old Jag, sure it I didn’t think of them for a SR.
but, sure enough they have a 12” for only about $180. Less than an OMP or Momo.

    thanks for the suggestion
