Looking For Used FV Slicks

Hey Guys,

I am looking for some spec FV slicks. I was wondering if there is anyone with leftover slicks from last season that is not terribly far from St. Louis, MO.

It's been a while since using either but when I did, I was happy with service and tires. Once, I got the wrong tires, they shipped the correct ones to the track for me and paid the shipping. They even told me to pass on the wrong ones to whomever could use them.

Look at FV entries from Majors races that are reasonably close to you. The St Louis track had ZERO vee entries this year, but there were a few at Blackhawk. Should be a number at Mid Ohio - can probably find most of them on facebook. I just gave away quite a few tires and had trouble finding someone interested in having them. I have also had good service from tires that were bought in 2019 - the FIRST year for Vee Spec Tires. Just be careful and warm them properly on your out lap... and maybe another lap too. I still have about a set of 2019 tires that I haven't yet dismounted if you happen to be in the Atlanta/Athens GA area, but not worth the trouble to ship them. If you get used tires from anyone, be sure to check them for 'bald' spots .. where they were locked up and ground through all the contact rubber in one spot. That could cause you a bit of grief.
