    Default New Geartronics Paddles

Yesterday was my first test day in the car with my new Geartronics paddle-shift system. I am blown away. It is like having a new car. The system, works perfectly out of box. It took about 3-4 days of leisurely work to setup, not rocket science, but just going slowly and carefully. I was concerned with the mix of components - mechanical, air system, electrical, closed loop sensors and software, but everything worked together perfectly. Both upshifts and downshifts are crisp and effortless. And there will never be another misshift or over-rev, ever. Computer does not make mistakes. So in a sense it helps protect both engine and gearbox. Kind of like engine/gearbox insurance. Well, that's what I tell my wife...

It really is a game changer as it allows you to totally focus on your driving. I dropped a couple seconds off my lap time right away, like in second session. It just makes it like a totally new car, really unleashes it, lots of fun. I would highly recommend this system to anyone wanting to make a fun, performance upgrade to their car. It really works. I am very impressed.

    Default Geartronics paddle shift

I would really like to have paddle shift in both of the cars I have but 8500.00 for system is just too much for me. Are there any other systems out there that work well and are reasonably priced?

It's one or the other. Reasonably priced systems don't work well for long and systems that work well (reliably) are expensive. Geartronics really is the gold standard and they have it down to a science.
