Quartermaster classic for FC and F1600
Aero Strait Race Mirror Grand prix for FE2
February 25,2021- From Pawleys Island,SC.- Primus Racing Parts is thrilled to announce that we will resume the Quartermaster Classic at Road Atlanta at the SCCA National on March 19-21. This will be the 3rd year of the thrilling championship for The FC and F1600 classes. On the same weekend we will also be promoting the Aero Strait Race Mirror Grand prix for FE2 Formula Enterprise cars. This will be a great way to start off 2021 with intense competition among the top open wheel classes. All three groups are now running on the spec Hoosier tires so it will even the playing field to have everyone running the same tires in 2021.
The FC and F1600 classes will be competing for many prizes supplied by Quartermaster clutches and Primus Racing Parts. Primus will distri bute 4 Quartermaster clutches assemblies and 4 clutch disc among the competitors. The Formula Enterprise class will be competing for 5 sets of carbon and plastic mirrors supplied by Aero Strait Race Mirrors and Primus Racing Parts. Primus Parts will also have trophies for the event on top of the normal SCCA Majors trophies. Comprent Motorsports and SCCA Enterprises will also contribute to the prize fund for FE2 class. We hope everyone driving in these classes will attend this event so we can have big fields in all three groups. Since the Runoffs are returning to Indy for 2021 many of the drivers are trying to get races in early in the year to qualify for Indy.. There were solid fields at Homestead and Sebring in January so we hope to see even la rger entry at Road Atlanta which is one of the top circuits in the country.
If you are interested in competing in one of these events there is no special registration required, just show up at the track and enter as normal. If you want to be eligible for the prizes just stop by the blue Primus Parts trailer in the paddock and we can give you required decals to place on your car and each driver will receive special event hat. please spread the word and everyone try and make it to Road Atlanta which should be a fantastic weekend.
