Hi Folks.

I'm just starting on a complete restoration/rebuild of my Dad's old Formula B / BSR Mallock from 1973-75.

I'm in the process of striping the DeDion tube and will be replacing the 50 year old wheel bearings.

The original bearings are ND 3209 - a little Googling suggest these are equivalent to 6209 double sealed ball bearing.

What internal clearance is recommended for wheel bearings in this application? C0 or C3?I had assumed C3 to account for the slight interference fit and the higher operating temperatures the bearings will likely see (friction and Brakes). Is this logic sound?

Thanks in advance.
