Default July 1987 SCCA National race results for FV at Mid-Ohio

Hello, was wondering if anyone would have entry list and results for July 1987 Formula Vee SCCA National race held at Mid Ohio, won by Chris Schultz. Father took photos of that event and trying to match driver with number. Future thanks.

    Cool pics!

What a surprise to see Lockhart's car on the towtruck. I wonder whose race she ruined that day.

Interesting to see all the cars running Hoosiers already. In NEDIV, there were very few, and the front guys were running Goodyear. Recently passed Pete Pires was the first front guy to run the Hoosiers, but I think that started the next year. Anyone who thinks that spec tires are bad for the class, has forgotten about the tire wars of the 90s. You needed a new LF for every session. The economy guys were making it last for two! And all the BS about tall or short rears, mixed with longbox or shortbox. I miss the racing of those days, but not the tires and tranny nonsense.

Thanks, Garry. That is Dennis Hamilton, my Father. He and John Nolan designed and built 3 cars like that. Body buck (Clay model), molds and parts were made in our garage at the time. Tons of fun.

    Great series of pics.

The black 25 and the 31 are ST 1's (stone) I owned and drove the black one. They designed it with full bodywork even under the trans. I used to have nightmares I would be late to the grid getting the bodywork on. It was designed by hHmilton and Nolan out of Detroit region.

Amazing how that Strega Engineering car looks like it has the "halo" of today.
