    Default RT-4- BDG conversion ??

Good day. I have been toying with making a F2 conversion on my RT-4. That being a Cosworth BDG in place of the BDA. I understand that it is an almost drop-in fit....the almost being the front engine mounts and ...???
Do any of you know or can point me to specifics on the conversion issues?? I am guessing it is a hardware issue (front mounts) but????
Thanks in advance for your thoughts on this,

    Nick Leonard

There was a guy out here that did an F2 conversion, but with a YAC. Install looked pretty san, and lower operating costs at the expense of some weight.

If your BDA/BDD is still good (or rebuildable) just buy a Jennings 2000 Aluminum block and new pistons.
Same 48 Webers - just increase venturis slightly - 99% as good up to 9000.
Use same BDD head if you want - 98% as good between 6500 and 9000.

Biggest difference is the 400cc (25%) and lower weight.
And car feels much better - weight/power/torque feel better matched.

All engine mounts are then the same - I've done installation mock-ups for RT4 and 79B.

PM me if you like - I've done it - might even have some parts left. Derek
