Default Lola T204 Tie rod ends

I need to replace my Lola T204's tie rod end. Got a set I thought would work from Moss Motors but they are about 1/4 inch too long (the threaded, tapered part that goes into the upright). Specs on the parts available from Moss are not available so I'm struggling to find the right part. Anyone happen to know what car (Spitfire, MGB, etc.), they came from? With that info, I should be able to find the right part. Thanks.

    Default Tie Rod Ends

From memory I thought the 204 had 4" PCD wheel bolt pattern which would imply a Ford product. Dont remember Lola going the British Leyland route like most of the UK guys.
Could be wrong - often happens

Some say its spitfire, but spitfire doesn't work, so you may well be right. I've got a call in to an outfit in England, perhaps they'll know. Thanks for the input.

Possibly Triumph TR6. All their steering components were slightly different to the Spitfire/Herald parts. See if you can get the dimensions off of those. Rockauto has all those bits too. Just a thought.

Haven't had to replace mine (T-200) but you might be able to match dimensions at this site:

    https://www.moog-suspension-parts.co...e_rod_ends.asp

Scroll down (way down) to the bottom for info on the taper dimension. Please let us know what you ultimately find for a solution.

Lola t340 ends are both the long RH of a pair from an Austin A40 Farina if that’s any use.

Also suggest you send picture to this guy, he bought all spares stock when they shut Longbridge down.

Thanks for that info. That may just do the trick. Appreciate it very much.
