Most of my FV stuff is gone, but I recently found a shock that I had once used on the Problemchild FST/FV cars.
8100 with AA/E valving. 11" extended length with 2 3/4" travel.

I am cleaning out the shop of surplus parts. I will load up the back of the pickup truck and bring stuff to the Runoffs. Lots of misc FV, FF, and general race parts. I found one "goodie" tucked away that was used on The Shirley MacLane FV. It is a cockpit adjustable hydraulic droop control device. As more knowledgeable FV people know, the rear droop limiter setting is the most important spec for handling. This lets you adjust from the cockpit. This also includes collars to install a booster spring to help fight rear squat. $350 OBO




See above for my application. It is the top assembly. Common Penske shock and spring is below, mostly hidden by exhaust.

I'm the current owner of Shirley MacLane FV and was curious on how the droop limiter attaches to the rear suspension? I'm assuming it sits above the shock but not sure from the photo.

The hydraulic droop limiter just replaces the original limiter, running parallel to the rear shock assembly. I had extended the bellcranks/rockers to allow for the extra size. I have no recollection of specifics, but expect that I trimmed back the rockers when I removed this assembly. It was more than 2 decades ago.

I pulled 5 boxes of old FV parts out of my shop that I want to get sell off. I will set the stuff out on some tables on Friday afternoon, so if any FV people may want to check it out.
