Help to identify uprights - please

Got a pair of rear upright I need to identify with the help of the forum. Cast in on the lower rear is "BA 42265" . Anybody recognize these and what they are off of?

Looks a little like Forsgrini.. Greg Lovell (apex name "Rv Greg") owns a vintage FB in the Seattle area and may be able to confirm if they are. If so, he could be interested in them!

The 'triangular' shape reminded me of yours, but now I see the short upper section and the disc outboard of the upright.

With the 6 bolts and the location of the bosses that could mount a trailing arm I would guess Lotus 18, 19, 20. Definitely wouldn't be Lotus manufacture, they would have been an aftermarket part. Interesting pieces.

On Lotus applications, the universal yoke slips on the axle and on the inboard side. This application, the yoke is forged into the axle Imp style). The hub slips on and the locknut is outboard.

Might be using a Lotus rotor and adapter. What is the Bolt center diameter on the six studs? What is the stud diameter? What is the thread; Lotus used BSF???

Thanks all for the comments to date. John, I haven't measured it, but I was told the hub is possibly Lotus or at least drilled for Lotus 6 lug wheels. These are the uprights I sent photos to you a couple of years ago. It was J.A.'s T47 project. I hadn't really chased what they were much as I had been told the suspension on the car (a BSR-spec'd 72 Europa) was all Lola 540. Well, recently I had a friend (thanks Lothar) send me pics of his 540 rears and they are obviously not even close. So I started looking through Lotus "stuff" and the closest I have found to date is 18 rears but the key difference is these are up/down vertical and the 18's have about a 6-8 degree "kink" in the middle...like most uprights.

Front uprights are Spitfire so I'm beginning to think the 540 direction isn't right either unless someone did 540 A arms but Spit uprights. I'll have to un-box the arms and post pics of them as well. Whats the chance these are some kind of production car upright?

Top upright in photo is Lotus 18 Fjr with drum brake cylinder ears front and rear on casting.
Second two photos are modified Lotus 18 F-1 or Lotus19 rear uprights with ears for calipers on casting.
Earlier photo with flat backed upright might be early LeGrand with hub and stub adapted for Lotus 6 bolt wheel. Proper Lotus parts though would have a stub axel with splines on inner for female UJ yoke, not yoke with stub axel and removable hub as in picture. Parts like that were to the best of my knowledge used by Lotus on the Europa and then only with 4 stud wheels. Hope that helps. J.R.
