Default 1993 Kart Racing w/ Trans Am Series - Dallas Texas

Here is a blast from the past since I am thinking about the SuperNats.
We raced at Reunion Arena in 1993 as a support race for the Trans Am series. Problem was, many of us were faster than most of the car field. I remember that race like it was yesterday. I qualified 5th, made it to 3rd, and dropped back and finished 5th. I had carb issues and chose too soft of a tire. Oh well.

I was there! I remember the Karts but I was busy doing my job around the Trans-Am paddock. The only people who considered the speed of the Karts a problem were those that didn't understand power to weight and center of gravity.
