Default HELP! Swift 008.a COTA Set-up

I just bought my first Atlantic (1998 Swift 008.a) and I am rapidly starting the climb of the steep learniing curve.

The first two events it will run will be at COTA. Would anyone be willing to help me out with a chassis and aero set-up sheet and gearing recommendations, including final drive? I've searched the forum and can't find enough detailed information to get me started down the right path for this track.

Thanks so much in advance for any support here.

    Best,

    Glenn

Unfortunately...I have no idea and no point of reference. The horsepower and gearbox variance between either my FF or FC and an Atlantic makes any comparison to the set-up on thse car meaningless.

COTA is somewhat unique in that Turn 11 entering the long back straight is a 40 mph corner (1st gear) The straightaway entry speed is very low. The front straight has the same issue...slow entry speed (1st or 2nd gear depending on car) and then the steep hillclimb into Turn 1...which further kills top speed. The correct lower gear selection is just as critical as the top gear selection to get the best acceleration and straightaway entry speed out of both of these tight corners.

This may or may not help but in PFM I run the short stack. I never get back down into first gear although I am seeing 43 mph in that turn. My top speed was only 145 mph, but admittedly the motor was a bit tired and I was on some pretty used tires and it was just a practice day. I also ran quite a bit of aero that day so I could have more fun in the esses.

Thanks for the comments Dee and Mikey.....but, I was really hoping to get hard data.

If someone will get me started with a baseline set-up, I promise I will share all of our information in return after we test for two full days on Sept 30th/October.
