Damn good Ralph. Apparently I also might benefit from a trip to the optometrist. Scary, considering what I do for a living. Looked at the ad 4 times and didn't see it. See you at Indy?

    Default Handling?

Photo 2 looks a tad loose in the back - maybe the wings help to cure that...

    For Sale RE Handling

The Photo your looking at is when the car was on Hard Dunlop rubber.

and power slides were the only way to put the power down. the chassis has a lovely balance that dose exactly what you ask and can be tuned to any driving style.
I just found the power slide method was slightly quicker on the hard tyres.

We tuned the chassis to under steer and control the car on the throttle allowing more power application earlier.

Looks good in front of the 8 times championship winning Lotus 59/69 I had to beet to win my championship.

As the car is a Brabham BT28 with different bodywork its handling is sometimes underestimated.

The car on the Avons improved the balance and we have done a lot of work with spring rates to get the car were it is today and we regularly beet the period Formula 2 cars we race that have fuel injection and double the rubber.

The most fun I have ever driven out of the pit lane

    Default Nice car!

    It is a pretty car!

I am wondering what engine the car would have run in 1969 F2. My recollection is that the 1600cc FVA on Lucas mechanical FI was the engine of choice in F2 before they allowed 2 liter engines (starting in 1972, I think). <This from reading. In spite of my grey hair, I never saw a live F2 race that long ago!)

    Hi Lee

The Car was the works Press car and Left the factory originally in 1969 as a formula B (Libra / Atlantic in the uk) It went off and did a year promoting the WDB2. It Returned to the factory and was fitted with a 1600 BDA to take on the March 712 which it did in period and still dose to this day.

Car has FIA F2 Papers form the 90s and I have all the fittings (Tanks, Aeroqupe, adaptor Plate for Gearbox) if it was to be put back to F2 Spec..

It Has beaten a multiple March 712(bda Powered F2) and Lotus 59 and 69s while I've had it with the twincam in the back.

Proven winner in F2 or Formula B spec.
