Hello all, looking for a set of good used tires to do a shakedown on an FC we just purchased. We are hoping to make it to Gingerman Sept 17/18 and will need them prior to the event. No specific brand but Hoosiers would be prefered.

I have fronts for cheap, no rears though.
Drive to PittRace this weekend and walk the paddock.
It is a lot less hassle for the teams to just hand them to you than to have to go through the hassle of shipping them.
Advantage can be that front running pro cars are set up nice, so most times their tires are not abused.
I have a set of Avons 6" & 8" with one heat cycle. I changed to the Pirelli radials so will not use these. I will sell them for $200.00 plus shipping from 94506.

I have a set of good used bias and radials in Muncie. 765-748-4848
Looks like we found some tires. Thanks all!

Ill just use this thread.
Looking for some good used tires.
Where would tires be shipped to? It would be helpful if you listed your location for the convenience of everyone else.
Radials or bias?
Apparently he is right behind you. Shipping should be cheap...

I pfefer to be in front and I keep it that way. If Mr. X wants tires, I have some.
I am hoping on a local contact. I will see what he has first. But I will give DorBell a ring if this does not pan out. The shipping to Chicago will be considerable factor in that price im sure.
A pleasant call to ArmsUp Motorsports might find some take offs within driving distance. Just saying...
I have a set of FC American Racers with three cycles on them that I used in the Baytos/Primus SouthEastern Series this past year just laying in the back of the pick up truck.......they were taken off my rims so new ones could be mounted just the other day and I was lazy so the tires stayed in the back of the truck bed and I didn't feel like paying Discount Tires their 'recycle fee' to leave 'em there. Hadn't decided what I'd do with 'em. Two of those cycles were at Daytona which isn't all that hard on tires......one Sebring long.
I don't know..........uhhh.........$50 plus shipping?.........Ok Ok....Y'all are driving [pun intended] a hard bargain ['nother pun intended 'cuz they're a hard compound]..........$40 plus shipping.
