    Default AP CP2195 Caliper rebuild.

I'm rebuilding my AP CP 2195 calipers (like FF but in alloy) including new Pistons, seals, the seal between the two halves of the caliper, new bolts etc

I have been able to find a torque setting for the bolts the the two halves together and wonder if anyone has any experience with these or has a torque value that can be used.

AP has no information that I can find.

    Thanks,

    Ian

I would respectfully suggest using the recommended torque for the size, grade and finish of the fastener in question. Assuming an allowance for the fact that it is screwed into alloy and not steel. Or maybe their is a table out there for bolts in aluminum holes.

The link might be a good starting point.

    Default Cp2195

Yes, that is my only option unless someone has actual experience. The unusual thing is the bolts are 3/8 UNF.
