Most NW fv drivers consider this event to be the most fun of each of the last 5 seasons. Usually 20+fv cars on a track with short straights and challenging turns,as if it were designed for fv. Sat night frolics at the track put on by the organizers,the 2 local fv families who do all the work and have re-energized fv in W. Canada.

We regret to inform everyone that due to some unforeseen circumstances, the FART Invitational Race will not proceed this year.

However, I hear the Vintage Racing Club of BC is hosting an event to celebrate Al Ores and his 47 years of racing FV (38 of those years in the same FV). This is on August 22 & 23 at Mission Raceway Park. Entry fee is $375 for the weekend which includes 2 tickets to the dinner they are putting on, plus a commemorative BCHMR t-shirt, and 3 free crew passes. There will also be a Friday practise day for $135.

Thank you for everyone's support over the last five years and we look forward to FARTing again with you in the future.
