    Default Watkins Glen

6 days until load in and the entry list is up at http://atlanticchampionshipseries.com

We expect to have more the 20 Atlantics ranging from Ralt RT41s to Swift 014 and Swift 016s. These cars are wonderfully suited to Watkins Glen and the racing should be something to watch.

Makes you wonder how quick the 14 drivers that beat him in USF2000 standings last year would be in the same car.

Some may be quicker, some may be slower, some may be the same. Young drivers progress at different rates and many progress differently at different levels of speed. We've seen plenty of drivers that can work magic in an FF but **** their pants in an FA. Also seen drivers that were pretty good in slower classes but amazing in bigger bore classes. Driver development is not always linear as most people think.

I thoroughly enjoyed watching the Atlantic cars rip around Watkins Glen. With all the extra downforce many of the turns are much much much more impressive compared to the F2000 and F1600 cars. The bus stop is one of those spots.

I watched Ethan Ringel have some snap oversteer in the middle of the bus stop and I **** my pants just watching it. Happened a million times faster than in the F2000 and F1600 cars. Amazing he was able to catch it. It was done in a blink of the eye.
