Formula Ford "The Series" 2014 Schedule

Here we go....We are starting early this year:

February 21,22,23 Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch. What a facility!!! Are there any Nevada Formula Ford drivers? We will be there, will you?

March 15 & 16 at Willow Springs International Raceway. The first purpose built road course. The fastest and most challenging track in the west.

May 3 & 4 Buttonwillow Raceway Park.

June, 20, 21-22 Auto Club Speedway Fontana

We are still working on a schedule for the last half of 2014.

We have 4 NM FF's/CF's committed so far for the Feb 21-23 event and are hoping for more--we understand there may be one or more from Colorado, as well. Only problem is that we have never laid eyes or tires on SM before and do not have a clue about a safe and efficient gear setup. Is there anyone who can share that information?

Funny U should ask........I was going to see if I could get some data for the 3.1 mile track .....

.....for the two straights and the long "kink" and work backwards from there. There is some slow (very slow) corners.

The track will open on Friday noon and have a test afternoon (2 sessions for open wheels). It might be a flog to get set up, do some laps and change gears.
