    Default ATE Racing Blue

There was some discussion about Blue not being available in the 'States. It is great stuff and half the price of its competitors. You can google it for a sales location near to you. If the racing blue is not available, I am given to understand that the racing formula is also available in "normal" amber color.

I was using Motul RBF 660 for quite some time, then started using Endless RF650 which I personally love.

Thanks Guy's. There's so flippin many brake fluids out there it's hard to figure what to use. What kinda temps are average on an FM caliper?
    Thanks again- Kevin

Oops! I just got schooled! I guess I need to read better! I somehow thought the Diablo was a cool homebuilt.

Back to brake fluid. You are looking at maintenance of viscosity, minimizing compressibility, and resistance to water absorption. And of course, price.

The reason I use ATE Super Blue is that it is equivalent to Motul and others at half the price. As we maintain multiple cars the savings are significant. Motul is over $60 a quart up here, I sell ATE for $29.00. It has great compressibility and absorption resistance and a dry boiling point greater than 536 degrees F. More than adequate for FM use; we use it on the McLaren CanAM car where temps are significantly higher and have no problems.

You cannot go wrong with any "name brand" synthetic brake fluids. I honestly believe most are very similar. For me, when all else is the same, I choose based on price. Super Blue is a super deal!

Motul Rbf 600 for many years, occasionally I will splurge for Castrol SRF

The amber version of Super Blue is Type 200 (ATE Type 200). Same stuff just different color.
