    Default Auto transportation

I have a Lexus sedan that needs transportation from Los Angeles to Indy. Thought of no one better to ask about reliable auto transportation companies than the vintage gang.

Does anyone have an outfit they can recommend?

    Thanks,

    Chris Crowe

    Default transport

I had good service from Further Racing 18 months ago bringing my car from Michigan to Sears point. He is just one truck but you might be able to work something out.

    Post trucking

Intercity, Reliable, Passport ---- I have used all 3 & they all do a good job. Not the cheapest. N.Y To L.A. was $ 2700.00 one way.

If your more flexible on pick up dates & drop off dates it can save you a few bucks.

Also open transportation auto carrying trucks are much cheaper than enclosed transport trucks. Probably a $ 1,000.00 cheaper.

So maybe a few splattered bugs & dirt would be OK as you can get one hell of a car wash & detail for that kind of money.

Also some independent truckers can often bid on the delivery & give good prices if they already have a load already booked going there from same area. So shopping around can pay off.

    Best of luck.

I'll throw another reputable name out there, Thomas C. Sunday Transport; enclosed and I have used them.

Have used Horseless Carriage and can reccomend them highly. Moved my FE from California to Maryland. As has been said, if you're flexible you can save money.
