    Default The Famous Lotus 49

I was looking around and haven't had any luck looking for someone or company
that has done replica's of the Lotus 49. I have thought of building one and using
a motorcycle engine for power. I am not racing anymore but we are still doing
some track days and I think it would be very cool to have one.
Thanks for any info in advance.

Lotus has sued several who have tried to copy the Lotus 49. But to make a F1000 car out of a lotus 49? I would take you to court over that! ha, ha

suing folks over race car design? Wasn't half the Indy 500 field a lotus or brabham copy by 68?

We got a few things in the works guys and don't worry as I have something to show
    I'll post it.
And I'm not worried about being sued over a tube framed chassis car with a motorcycle
engine in it that favors the 49.
I have a few sources I am speaking with that has done a lot more research on the things
that I would have trouble with, mainly the bodywork.
I'll keep everyone informed. Until then, Famous words of Cletus Snow
