Default Building Cars!!

We are working at a feverish pace to fulfill car orders. Gary Hickman (at edge engineering) and I are collaborating on the construction of all Phoenix Race Works cars, and the build quality is impeccable. Gary, as many of you know, had built his own F1000 and has many years of experience fabricating molds and body work. The body fit and finish on the new car will out shine all of the products Phoenix has produced previously. The melding of Gary’s fabrication and my engineering has produced a winner of a car! Light weight, aerodynamic, easy to work on, great suspension geometry, and way cool looking!

With a combination of Dustin and Gary behind the Phoenix, you just got to know the F1K-12 will be a top of the line racing machine.

The best to the two of you. Looking forward to watching the progress.

Default Just noticed your keel solution ---

Smart. Very strong looking. .049 (sheet), I'm guessing?

Also, the aero tie rods. Terrific stuff.

Can't wait to see one of these cars up close...

Good looking car Dustin. Wish I had the money for one of those hot rods.

Thanks for all your help with parts and knowledge. My new car is going to look good with you side pods. Not as good as that 2012 car but way better than my old one.

Dustin has been helping me for a while now and you can't do buisness with better people.

Default CDF and some cool pics

I don’t want to give away too much of the CFD because we are doing things aerodynamicaly that sets this new car apart from other F1000’s, but I wanted to show off the fact that we are using CFD to design our car.

Default question on front roll hoop

I know this is an old post, but I assume the front roll hoop is legal in the chassis pictures? I thought it had to be 1.375 .080 round tube and start from the chassis bottom frame rail. I could be reading (the GCR) wrong. I'm converting my F500 to a F600 and could use a little more height and width for my hands and forearms and now is the time to do it since its down to the bare frame. and with my limited resources I wouldn't have to bend up a new hoop.

    Thanks
