    Default Lug nuts

I have 2 sets of Cromodora CD 30 rims. The lugs for these wheels have a 3/4" wide shank and are aluminum. Does anyone know where I can get some spares?

What thread are they? You mean the lug nuts themselves are aluminium? I made a bunch of lugs like that up one time, for a sports racer I have. I used aluminium hex stock and a lathe. I'd be highly surprised if you could buy them off the shelf. I'd be happy to dig mine out and see what I actually have, if you need them

Porsche uses (or at least did in the late 80's, I don't know about currently) aluminum lug nuts off the factory line. No idea on the stud size or thread pitch, but they have a semi-circular mounting face and take a 19mm socket.

As a side note - I know way to many cases of these aluminum lug nuts breaking or galling and being a PITA to get off without damaging the wheel. If you decide to go this route, consider them wear items and replace them as soon as they start to squeak.

It is a 7/16" lug with a 3/4" wide shank and flats and a 28 mm. shoulder where it mates the wheel.

I've looked through Gorilla, all the lugs with .740" shank are larger than 7/16". Thanks. I may have to convince someone to make some.

Steel would be great to find. Unless there was a reason for using Al with the magnesium rims. I just don't know. Brian if you have some 3/4 wide shank homemade lugs I just might be able to make them work with washers. I would appreciate it if you had the time to dig yours up, thanks. My pic attempt did not work so I'll post a link.

Looked up the ones for the 911's and they are 12mm, so no luck there.
Manufacuring them wouldn't be inmpossible but you'd want a cnc mill for the hex section.
