    Default FT200 serial #

I'll probably regret asking but if FT200s have serial numbers, where would they be stamped?

I know where Mk4-9 and LG600s are stamped, but not FT200s.

On the left side of the case, on the top of the center section right adjacent to where the LH sidecover mouting ear is. There's a flat machined surface on the case at that location and that's where the Hewland cases were stamped. If its been re-cased, it might not have a stamp though. Also, FT's had an ID tag on the rear cover, but those usually disappeared early in most of their service lifes.

Thanks, found the number right where indicated. It was under a shock reservoir bracket which explains why I couldn't find it.
