Default new: Macon MR7 Formula Ford article

Gee... these vintage Formula Fords are addictive aren't they.

    Here's another article! Usual disclaimers...

Bob Romanansky's 1969 Macon MR7 Formula Ford Racecar (43 photos)

Question: ever seen anything like this on a Formula Ford?
(pedals and master cylinders mounted on a sliding platform)

    Default Alexis engine

The engine in the Alexis article is NOT a Cortina; it is out of a Fiesta (771M casting).
These vintage articles are superb - keep 'em coming!

Thanks Ken. Lots more FF articles coming, although most of the cars I've photographed are a bit newer. I've added notes to that Alexis article to point out the Fiesta-block casting number (771M-6016-CA) and also the weld seam on the Diamond wheels (indicating, I believe, that they have rolled rims versus spun rims as came up in the wheels thread.)
