    Default Lola upright info wanted

    Hi guys
I am currently making a batch of aluminum replica rear uprights to suit the T440 . The question I have is on all of the uprights I have seen of the era they all look the same wether it be FF, super v or sports cars so what are the differences ?? Mine have the number D2 0 4014 and use 6308 bearings can anyone please help as I don't want to machine them all the same if there are differences .

I have the T440 blueprints at home... that Lola sent me a while back.... They have part numbers.. I bet if you ask Lola they will either A) send you the designs of the other cars you're asking for or B) just tell you the part number.

The official lola site is where I started my search, a nice gentleman whose name I've forgotten replied back and helped me out.

Also, if all else fails - there is the forums on the lolaregistry site.

    Good luck

    regards,

    Mike

    Ian,
I'm by no means a total expert, but, in my experience the Lola rear upright is common to many Lola models and classes. All that I have seen have had the same bearing bores. The only difference has been if the "ears" have been machined to accommodate an outboard mounted brake caliper.

"Dog Rings' uprights are of magnisium, therefore lighter than al.

We've purchased several and they look great.
