Default Has anyone put these lump in a Reynard SF84

I know it may seem like a waste to some, but has anyone converted a reynard sf84 to a f1000? I bought the car to run as a club continental for couple of season and was going to convert it to a DSR. But a blown engine has made me think that it could be fun to do the conversion now and run as a FL in our club.

    Cheers

    Greg

Greg, there's one out here that I've been around with a "Busa" in it.
I have a brand new rear motor plate that you would need, as it was c.n.c milled for the other guy.
A pretty easy install to do.
    Call me for info.

Hey Gordy, good to talk to you at the 40th. How is that Busa working out in that guy's 84 Reynard?

I wonder if it was a Reynard that George Bugg had? He was one of the first people I knew with a motorcycle powered formula car. He has raced in the southeast for a while, often in Solo I.

Russ, for some reason I am under the impression George used a Zink chassis for that car. Stan

Default My bad. Not a Reynard.

According to Google, George had a mid 80's (84 or 87?) Van Diemen with GSXR-1100 motorcycle power.

    Default '83 Reynard FB conversion

I've converted an '83 Reynard FF converted to DSR to an FB. I built the body from pieces found and produced by myself along with wings purchased from donor FC's.
Please call me if you want to discuss the details.
