I race in the southeast division and drive a 1988 Reynard that was homologated in 1991. The rules for CFC in this division state that the car must be homologated by 1990. Come on, it is old and cant run with the newer cars. Is there anything I can do to get in the CFC?

Well, you could always just enter the races and hope nobody checks. If you've got the ID plate showing it's an '88 that might help. Or, you could probably modify the certificate date! Or, you could plead your case to the series officials and see if they'll modify the rules. If you have a history (logbook) showing races in 88 or 89 that might help you prove it's an old car.
