    Default Classic Motorsports article

There's a great tech article in the current (January 2009) issue of Classic Motorsports called "Scientific Method" by Per Schroeder. The subject of the article is one of the quickest vintage Formula Fords on the east coast: The SascoSports Lola 200. The idea of the article is how to use current technology to increase the performance of vintage racecars. A lot of good ideas and information here. The dyno and data charts are very informative.

Thanks for the kind words, Stan. I'll pass it on to Per.

For anyone who's not familiar with the magazine, if you request a free issue by Dec. 15, you'll get the January issue with the Lola story in it.

    Default Where is it?

Is the article in Classic Motorsports. I searched today's Grassroots high and low and did not see it.

    Default Handy Man

You can put Dave Handy in almost anything and it will be fast. That said, I've seen this car and its Lola stablemate run many times. Very impressive.

    Second that!

John, it was Jeff Horne that was driving. Going even quicker than when we started...
