The 2007 Formula Ford Series

Twenty-Seven of the fastest Formula Ford drivers on the West Coast have committed to run a 5-weekend, 10-race series in 2007.

Races to be held at Willow Springs, California Speedway (Fontana), Phoenix (PIR) and one other track to be announced.

All generations of Formula Fords are invited to participate in this series.

Formula Fords will have their own dedicated race group, with no interlopers from any other class.

We will have three, perhaps four different FF classes within our single race group, to accommodate each generation of FF produced. We are rapidly approaching our goal of 30+ entrants committing to the series; as of this post the count is at 27!

Schedule - The 2007 Formula Ford Series

Projected “Series” Race Dates, 2007:

February 10 – 11 Phoenix Historic Festival @ PIR
March 10 – 11* Spring Historic Races @ Willow Springs
June 22 – 24 So. Cal. Historic Races @ California Speedway
October 6 – 7* Fall Formula Festival @ Willow Springs.

*Dates are tentative, as we strive to avoid conflicts with other organizations.

We will announce an additional race weekend in the last half of the year. All series drivers are encouraged to run other HSR-West events, though they will not count for series points. We appreciate what Ed Swart, HSR-West is doing for us.
