    Default Lucas Starters

Back when I bought my car, the "spares package" included a crate of enough parts to make a dozen Lucas starters, or so it would seem lugging the crate around. I have a Tilton superstarter now and have no intentions of looking back. Is there a market out there, however small, for these parts (cheap!).??

They should also fit a number of British sports cars like MGA, Mini Coopers etc. Consider e-bay.

    Thanks Joe,

Yep, I guess I've got nothing to lose by posting them on eBay. I'm just thinking it would cost more in shipping than the parts are worth in the first place!

    Default Lucas starters

...and we all know the reason there were enough bits and pieces to build a dozen starters...

Yes there is a market for Lucas starters, they fit all Britash cars from the 50's to the late 80's.
We had an Austin 3000 with a broken starter nose and Moss charged us $120 for a bad core!

PS Never hit the starter button on a car with a Lucas starter while the engine is still turning?
