I have an old GCR relating to rollbar. It outlines the design of the hoops and forward braces. However, nothing is mentioned about rearward braces. Is there a requirement for rear braces? If not mistaken the GCR calls them supplementary, does this mean optional? I am looking into updating my vintage car to run CF and currently have only one rear brace.

You should be fine on the rear brace most of the club fords I see only have one rear brace. My Zink does and it always passes tech.
