    Default lola t200-t202 brake rotors

I Would Like To Know How Many Lola 200 / 202 Owners Would Buy New Brake Rotors At A Resanable Price Say 300.00 Dollars Per Rotor??

If Enough People Would Show An Interest It Would Be Much Less Than The Cost Of Rotors From England

    Thank You For You Help

I would think $100 per rotor would be more reasonable. Try Campbell Motorsports, I know he makes various rotors for Lols, Crossles, Reynards, etc., and all for around $100 per. If he dosen't have them off the self, he could probably make them. You can find his info on my web site www.TheLolaRegistry.com under "Parts Sources". Good luck, Allan

    Default brake rotor

i would agree that 100.00 would be ideal for a brake rotor
have sent one of my rotors to larry campbell to take a look at
his current blanks will not work so a new set of casting would be required
still need to know how many could be sold and what price is reasonable
the 300.00 was was a number i threw out to see if you would respond
    thanks larry

SascoSports has a T200 and a T202. They might be interested.

    Default Lola Rotors

You should take a look at John Bradley's (up in Evergreen) Lola rotors, that Truechoice put together years back. They turned an aluminum hat and the setup now uses flat disks bolted to the hat. I think the price for four was around $500. He whined then. Now all he has to do is replace the flat disk, which costs next to nothing.

Larry and John: Nikkel and JB did the Truechoice rotors about the same time, but my recollection is that the cost was closer to $1200 for four. $500 would be a steal, then or now.

I Hope That There Could Be Enough Interest That Larry Campbell Can Make Up New Rotors At Aprice The Car Owners Will Pay And At Whitch Mr Campbell Will Make A Profit And Be Able To Continue Supply His Product To The Racing Community

    Default Lots of potential customers

According to Lala Cars Ltd., there were about 120 Lola T200 series cars made. So, given a 25% loss over the years, there should be about 90 owners with the potential need for 360 rotors sooner or later. Not a bad number to run 100 piecies on spec. Larry, you out there?

I'm out here Allen-- way out in the northern woods of Michigan's Upper Peninsula.

I floated the question about doing some 200 series rotors back in late 2001- early 2002. There wasn't much interest then so I never went forward. There seems to be much more interest so I'll look at this rotor. I'm always interested in adding products to the line- if there is some market.

I'm getting the sample and will work with the foundry I use to work out some numbers. Based on the latest foundry patterns I bought, I don't think I can make $100- but should be able to easily beat the $300.

    Default Lola Rotors

I had rotors and top hats manufactured about three years ago. Cost was in the neighborhood of $1,000. I borrowed one of Bob Darcey's rotor/top hat for a model and had them made as a two piece assembly. All the manufacturers I talked with said you can't buy billet steel in the size required to machine them as a one piece unit (and stay true to the original.)

The guy I usde is out of business, but the two piece assembly's he did for me were very nice.
