Need the source for a male tie rod end as used on the outer end of the upper A-arm as in Merlyns, and other vintage FF's. 5/8" x 18 threads, and I assume 7/16" on the tapered stud? I assume a Triumph or other British part??? Thanks..........Scott

    I have a new pair--but I think they're female. I'll try to check if you're interested. $50/pair.

    Scott,

They appear to be Triumph Herald or Spitwad from the pictures on your castor post. I have ones that appear to be the same on my Lotus Elan. They should be available from Moss Motors, Dave Bean Engineering, JAE, or Kampena Motors here on the west coast or from RD Enterprises and Tingles Lotus on the east coast. The usual disclaimers apply.

    Regards,
    Dan

I converted my car to a Rod End. Very simple, safer, no questions.
