I am replacing the wheel nuts on my Merlyn MK17 (Spitfire MK1). Does anyone know a source for suitable replacements? I checked with Rimmer Brothers UK and the want over 2 Pounds each for them before shipping.

They are most probably 3/8 UNF with 11/16 hex. Most probably the same as BMC Mini. I'm sure that in Canada there is some wrecker (dismantler) or some other non standard parts person.

I get mine from a local non standard parts man at $1 each.

Try Dave Bean Engineering (Lotus and FF1600 experts) I seem to recall buying brand new 3/8 wheel nuts from them about 10 years ago.

The Roadster Factory (never a price leader) has them (pn 113087) for $1.75 each.

I've got a box of them.
3/8-24 taper seat, chrome, 11/16 hex. Capped, not through.

Didn't put them on ebay...call me if you want some and let me know the qty. I had these made ten years ago and don't know if I can ever get them again or not. Think I bought about 2-300 of them at the time.
