    Hello,

My friend bought a DL2A this weekend. The car have homemade bodywork with a strong original resemblance and we have some questions.

The frame in from of the radiator have been modified and the only picture I have is the one on http://www.vintagegarage.com/hawkere...e/DL2APag2.jpg

Does anyone have pictures or dimensions? we got an extra original nose with the car wich won't fit the current frame. Does the original frame go all the way forward in the nose? Did the original radiator incorporate a oilcooler/heat exchanger?

Was the battery originally installed infront of the radiator?

Exhaus maniofold original should it be "under and down" as per http://www.vintagegarage.com/hawkere...e/DL2APag2.jpg

Or "over and up" like http://www.vintagegarage.com/hawkere...e/DL2APag3.jpg

The "original" sides that came with the car have the engine cover attachment point overlapping fitting with a Duzs. The "Home made" has a fitting like the picture above.

Are the body panels available new or does anyone have moulds? (in europe)

Does anyone know the specific alternations between DL2, DL2A and DL2B?

    Henrik

    How do you post pictures?

The photo's that you have shown are the sales brochures from the
Hawke factory. Go back up on the website and visit with those who have
email addresses- they'll give you more help than you can imagine. There
are quite a few running DL-2A's in the US.in vintage and are vert competitive !
    Good Luck !!! A DL-9 owner myself.
