A good turn out will encourage the organizers to continue and expand their efforts to bring open wheel vintage racing out of the back room the vintage community generally relegates it to.

Now that I have the Lola back together, I'll be there. Others I know are coming are Jeff Johnson, March FF and Cecil Boyd Crosslee FF.

Anyone care to share the gears for this new track, for Vintage Fords, on Dunlops? I'm coming in from Colorado and any help would be appreciated. What is the format for Friday T&T? Open track all day or scheduled times for different classes or ....?

Here's the gearset recommendations I got from Jeff Johnson who has been talking to some people who have run the track at BeaveRun. This is for a vintage FF, with Spec. Dunlop tires and a 9:31 diff.
    19:31
    21:29
    21:25 or 23:27
    25:27 or 25:26

    I'm going to run:
    19:32 (don't have a 19:31 gearset)
    21:29
    21:25
    25:27

The format for Friday is an open practice period from 2:00PM to 7:00PM for $75.00. I've been told that we will be broken up into run groups based upon the types of cars that show up.

You can get a registration form for the practice session by calling BeaveRun at 724.535.1000. Ask for Danny.

See you there. We will be having the Monoposto Racing reception at my paddock on Friday evening. Look for a white motorhome and a gray trailer with Creek Boy Racing on the side.

    Dan,

That's a TALL stack. What kind of lap time are the Vintage FF's turning?
