I think you'll find 24:27 pretty tall for LS. FYI: Some quick guys run 24:28.
We are running the Dunlops (Vintage) tires at 23" dia. Not sure what the slicks are I would suspect smaller.

Actually our American Racer slicks are about the same as your Dunlops(C ~ 72.5" @ 14psi => ~ 23" D). Anyhow, if your Dunlops are "taller" than our slicks, you definitely want to run a "shorter" gear.
I like an even shorter 4th than that (23:28). Between the very tight turn 11 onto the straight, and the climb up past start/finish, you just don't end up building up much speed by the time you get to turn 2.
