Always looking for the unfair advantage Dale. Nice!
We certainly had a great time at the Long Race. One Formula Racing would like to congratulate Max Grau and Mat Cutter on a great 1-2! We also want to thank Dale, David and Parnelli for a couple of...
Too bad it's the same weekend as Grattan, I've heard 3 creeks is a great area and track.
They're over 2 seconds faster right now

In my case I hadn't seen the other comparisons and I really don't care about the performance difference, was just making a statement about F1600 times and F2000 times compared to the times posted.
So a bit faster than a Ford (sorry, habit) and a bunch slower than an F2000.

Didn't realize it was online until you asked. I always get it on my phone.
Found it. Didn't realize it wasn't with the all formula Mid Ohio Race Monitor feed. It had its own.
According to the schedule, F4 cars could have tested last night at Mid-Ohio and had 2 practices today. I'm surprised no one has posted anything about them. The website is silent as well. So, did...
Very interesting, but was I the only one that found it a bit condescending to SCCA Club Racing?
Steve, I think what you're saying (or not saying) is that Crawford should go to Andersen with a plan similar to that. I'm sure they have the RFP in their hands.
Without the MRTI the steps...
You mean the older car that has no place to run competitively in Club racing and as of 2018 no place in a Pro Series? Lots of cheap cars for Autobahn Country Club members!:D
This is spec racing from what I can see. That begs the question from my side what happened with FE as I was not around racing when it was introduced or at its peak. I understand the global...
Council doesn't recognize FE so you have to run as an Atlantic. We ran twice this year winning FA once. We had to pit for the long race and the FM's (also running as Atlantics) did not.
All this talk about racks........ I see a trip to the Tilted Kilt in my near future. :D
If you were in CenDiv, I would tell you FE is the way to go. We have quite a few running here. I've driven the Pro Mazda and while a step up from the FE its not a huge jump especially when...
The "shine" dulls, but other than that they hold up fine. I've got two cars that were done in 2003 and the headers still look great.
I use Motorsports Coatings in Delavan for our FE headers. They do an excellent job at a reasonable price. I've (tried to) attach a picture of the header we just had done a couple of months ago.
Kevin, The tests went great. No issues. You probably should have stayed two more days! The FE was available on Thursday.
Hey Kevin. Probably mentioned this when i saw you Tuesday, but data is a huge deal. Especially when you have comparison data. It accelerates the learning curve exponentially in my opinion.
You read it correctly. I know FE was down this year with only 34 entries, but I expect it to be back to a 10 car average next year. I don't know the reason for the low number of FM's.
Flat out until your rear wheels leave the ground, then back off the throttle. Don't hit the brakes until you've got all 4 back on the ground. One of the reasons I love Grattan!
Very cool! Good job Scott. Why did Jeff get DQ'd?
