I'm wondering if the car FRP is referring to is F3 compliant?
USF3-Atlantic ---has a nice ring to it ---
I just can't believe what prices have done since I bought new Van Diemens. RF03Z cooper Zetec less the dash + shipping for 39K. RF99 Kent less dash/shocks/wheels + shipping for 29K. Even though these...
The car and concept are interesting -- (Designed to be a globally recognized, yet affordable step between Karting and F3, FIA Formula 4 will allow drivers to compare themselves to the best young...
LOL -- I'm still going through withdraws
I'm sure you know what you need grasshopper - hope it comes soon for you.
COOP what happen to your car ???????
Kevin,
Please take all that has been written here as constructive criticism. Those who would rather use this site as a whipping post are wrong and make all of us as a group look like a$$holes. Back...
Nice run LL- what was the official time?
Jason
SCCA is full of respectful members.
Jason
I found the answer to my question

Can anyone shed some light as to who hit me going into 13 in race 2?
WOW 85 cars in group 5 - congradulations to the FB community for fielding the largest formula group.
Since all-ya-all are the majority, do you feel that grid should be set according to time not...
It would be nice to have our own run groups or for the club to hold a % rule for grouping but I doubt that this will ever happen under the current format. Therefor we have to work this out together...
Driving like this should take care of the overtaking issues.
...
Brian,
I'm booked too, are you flying or driving in?
Jason
LMAO Mike - Well placed in this thread.
Coop what are your coaching fees?
Juan,
I have driven FF, FC and FA over the jump and the approach was the same in all three. Flat out until lift-off.
One weekend I witnessed a FC with a bent front wing that was developing lift...
(Don't think it will happen this year Kevin, I think a 2:00.5 will be about the best until further developement $$$$$$$$$$ is complete/spent)
With a DSR just running a 2:00.97 lap, does anyone want to predict FB times for this afternoon?
Brandon 5.0
Coop 5.8
JR 5.9

Who was the builder and was it a big or small port head?
Mike,
Suspect to the power advantage Jacek had with his package, I'm sure what you developed for him was to the specifications of the GCR. It's to bad he didnt put a better paint job on your work....
Whatever his mill and aero package are, I would loose about 6 car lengths while in his tow. Jacek is not comfortable driving a low grip set-up as stated by one of his crew members and my observation....
Bill,
I will let the speed-cast video speak for itself in FA and CSR when it is available to watch this Friday. If these two motors are legal then SCCA got the SIR wrong.
Jason
Congrats Brandon and a big appology to Kyle for my last lap T5 - 0% move . A very furstrating race for me with the way it was started (3 1/2 mile split), restarted (turning off the lights at pit...
Here is the full kit to convert to a V-Pedal for a Crossle 30 series
21295
My inquiry started last spring when my contact was not sure when more assemblies were going to be built. When I get a chance I will post picks of the raw assembly before installation.
I just purchased one for my Crossle 31, It did take a looooong time for the order to be filled.
Jason
This is the main reason I elected to not attend this year, last year was a cluster.
Good luck to everyone this weekend.
Jason
Russ,
Are you testing today or have any information on how things are going?
Jason
Yes it is similar to a Crossle 30/32 but the frame rails are the wrong dimension and this chassis is missing the diagnoal brace.
Plus 5-6 FA's; it should be a fast field. Those poor FE & FM's are really going to be busy with their mirrors unless they opt to be put with the 2 sports racers. :blueflag:
Another entertaining read Glenn, I found this photo of Ana just before she headed to the grid to find you.
I will leave the details up to Al but here are the top 3 from Q1.
JR - 22.7
Niki - 23.4
Hill - 24.5
I heard some times that filtered down from Foss, the top three times for the day which are pretty ammazing considering traffic.
Niki into the 21's (now that's flying in a FB)
Hill at a 23.3
JRO...
Any breaking news from the ARRC on today's practice?
Rick, Find me a ride and we will talk about the required roll hoop and homologation papers.
Or sell it before the ARRC! Watch the entry list for updates.
Maybe Jeremy will let me borrow his photon because when I ran out of rocks to throw at the Ralt I started throwing $$$$. I guess...
It sounds like this ARRC is shaping up to be another fine event. You guys in FB just keep gaining momentum. It's times like now I wish I had an FB to play with.
Brett,
What you might be referring to is in the June Fastracks there is a clarification to the max width of the bodywork for FA. Sometimes it only foolish not to ask the question.
Jason
Rick,
Yes we did by a little under 2 tenths, I was lucky enough to get one clean lap. But like Keith proved in qualifying, there is still another second to lower it by with the new surface and the...
Kevin you are right about that!!! French and I were very hesitant to roll onto the straight and as we did a Pro Mazda went by at about 130mph and proceeded to close in on cars that were coming up to...
I will confirm what Mike said regarding grouping at the sprints. Here is a copy of a PM that I received.
______________________________________________________________________________________...
Russ,
You are right about the first lap, I got into Keith under braking going into 10a which caused us to spin into the dirt at exit. This caused the rest of the field to stack up under a waving...
Rick soounds like you had a successful test today. Your right about the traffic, lappers should come about lap 6. see you tomorrow
;) and Ulrich was just besides himself too.
Don't forget that the track has been resurfaced since those lap records were recorded. This years pro FM race saw the cars dip into the 18's and a well driven FA should do the same if not better....
Anyone able to report how the traffic was? I see on EFCN that there is a 25 second difference between fastest and slowest. Did this allow some to get a good tow that reflected faster lap times and...
Jim,
Even though the unrestricted zetec would run similar lap times with the FB, it would get eaten for lunch at the start.
I didn't know that Tonis was coaching next weekend.
My guess would be $3000.00, the same cost to replace it.
Russ, the car has a homologation certificate that was issued in 1995. Since that time the roll bar requirements have changed. In the attempt to apply for a FA/FS homologation (which would be required...
