I use Chester Airport. It is owned by Whelen Engineering which is next door.
It has a self serve pump and as stated earlier NCC 1701 is my tail number.
I bring a photo of my Vee to show it is not...
I did not scroll down so my reply is in the Vintage post!!
The only reunion I attended was the 50th at Roebling Road. It was great because it was only Vees. However, towing from Connecticut even that event was a stretch on my budget. Most Formula Vee...
I have had good luck with Pegasus making exactly what I needed.
Also Zeitler built by John Zeitler. I think there is someone in Florida that has a lnk.
This was previously stated!!!
In 153, the number is one hundred fifty three.
It is made up of the numerals or digits 1, 5, 3
Thanks for posting John. You don't really need a date, just a cheap Vee!
WOW!! I am impressed! After many months of work we have a solution to a problem that did not exist!!!
WOW!! 24 Vees entered for the NEFV opener!!!
I hesitate to post anything on Apexspeed because I will be put in my place. However, to quote the GCR C.1 Formula Vee Background section "...the focus remains the same: to provide a cost effective,...
I've had my car at car show and have made presentations at high schools and middle schools. I have never had anyone ask about the drum brakes. The questions I get are: "Who drives it?" "How fast...
This will fix FV like Honda fixed FF and Zetec fixed FC. Look at those large field of cars. I'm glad Steve thinks $1500 plus is reasonable. I have raced on a shoestring budget for over 40 years...
And now 17!! Let's get 20 or more. Should be a fun weekend.
Thank you Becky and Nick for the great photos. It was a good weekend with great racing and fun. We also welcomed Justin Galuardi to the track. His first race weekend.:thumbsup:
:thumbsup::thumbsup:
Congratulations all. You deserve a special medal of endurance for driving in those conditions.
See you all on track soon.

Any filter that fits the older Jettas fits. I've used Mann, but if it fits the older VW it fits gasket and threads.
I also will be there Friday to help set up and stay for Saturday. My good friend and long term race gear supplier Victor from VAS Enterprises will have a booth. Please stop by and introduce...
Thanks Phil. I really enjoyed the video. Keep us (me) updated.:greenflag:
I agree with Dennis. I go waaaay back with Dan. Over 40 years. He was always a pleasure to talk to at the track. Congratulations on a great run!:trophy
It's in the Suups that radial tire (Challenge Cup) cars are allowed to race at all New England Region events.
I guess the DRS wasn't enabled or they were all out of push-to-pass. Great racing!
It doesn't matter how you enter, but let's get some more cars. Lot's of track time, plenty of paddock space and a good entry fee. So let's show some enthusiasm and support a track that supports us....
We also petitioned the NER Comp Board to put it in the supplementary regulations that Challenge Cup cars are allowed to compete at all New England events this year. With your wheels and radial...
My Vee is 57 - 58 wide in the front inches with the tires on.
I have an event to attend that is a little more important than the show. But, I feel we have a competent crew and we should have another successful show. Maybe another best in show?
Good luck and...
The NEFV site looks great. Thanks for your expertise and dedication.
:greenflag::trophy:
Tank you Mark for your work and dedication.:trophy:
Also, as you crank it without the plugs in you can establish oil pressure before it runs!
Great pictures. A herculean effort by John to get the car there. I really missed being there with a great group of racers. Hope to see you all soon.
Tom G.
Nice update. NEFV is a great group and the work on the web site shows dedication. Since I couldn't be at the show it was good to see the update.
Thanks.
Tom G.:greenflag::trophy:
I am planning to try a get there too!
Weather permitting!!

This is what SCCA racing is all about. A fun weekend, with help from friends when you need it. We just happen to have a great group of Vee drivers here in the Northeast. Thank you to all that made...
Friday evening, depends on when I can get away and traffic! Go in, set up, and leave room for 2 other cars. It should work. We do it all the time.
Nick may already have sent you a message, but Nick and I
will be in #8 if you want to join us.

I finally checked out the web site. Wow! Great update, great music, and a great bunch of guys. We should play the video some Saturday night at the track! Thanks for the work....
There is a rumor that 1968 FB national champion Roger Barr will attend! Kinda like having the Stig? We hope he makes it.
I usually try not to voice my opinion here because it will come in for plenty of criticism.
I have been driving my FV for 40 years with over 250 races. Yes, the same car! So I have seen plenty of...
I'll be there to help set up and man the booth all day Friday since I missed all the fun last year! I plan to attend some of the SCCA meetings on Saturday, but will also hang around with the Vee...
One expense not mentioned is entry fees. I have been involved in SCCA FV racing for forty years. I think the largest increase in my budget in entry fees. For $600-$700 for tires you can run a full...
Thanks for posting the event. I think we got most of the prize winners.
It's always a great weekend.
Tom:blueflag:
Must be my age. I repeat myself!!!
:greenflag:Hey Anthony,
As in the other thread on the FV website, "Just Don't Get It", I must
pick and choose my events carefully because of my limited budget.
With Lime Rock two weeks ago and the...
Hey Anthony,
Like on the other thread, "Just Don't Get It", it's the cost of entry.
Lime Rock two weeks ago, the Glen next week. On my limited budget
it's the entry fees. I can't afford all three...
